14 Going on 40

Featuring

Cynthia and Leslie met at 14 years old as 1st Gen Latinas in high school in Long Beach, CA and the adventures they shared and the adults who guided them along the way. Cynthia and Leslie pay homage to our Inner Teen spirit, old friends and the adults who believed in us! We talk about grieving as teenagers and how dance has always been a coping tool for us. This is a light hearted chat with two soul sisters who met when they needed each other. Lelsie gives Cynthia advice on turning 40 in October and shares tps on embracing the Señora Era.

Leslie Henderson is a mom, a cowgirl, a designer, an avid Zumba dancer and a lover of animals and laughs. Leslie is one of those friends in Cynthia’s life that will always have her own chapter for all that she has done for Lil’ Cyn.
